Souterrains Guided tour of the underground passages.

Discover their history: the construction techniques, the way they were used, how the soldiers lived there at the time and much more.

The tourist train

Train touristique Take a tour with a commentary on the tourist train.

Discover the fortifications the picturesque way aboard the tourist train, and admire the magnificent panoramic views of the city and the Meuse valley.

Special commentary for children (on request from the driver).

From Tuesday January 2 to Friday March1, open from 10:00 to 17:00.

Closed on Mondays (except during school holidays and public holidays: 7/7 days).

From Saturday March 2 to Sunday November 3, open from 10:00 to 18:00, 7/7 days.

From Tuesday November 5 to Sunday December 22 inclusive, open from 10:00 to 17:00.
Closed on Mondays (except during school holidays and public holidays: 7/7 days).

Annual closing from December 24 to January 1 included.

  • Bus: Tec-bus line 3, leaving from the Namur train station, stop: Rond Point Thonar.
  • Auto: E411, exit Namur Centre ; Route Merveilleuse (behind the Casino) ; Parking Terra Nova and Esplanade.
  • At the foot of the Citadel : follow « Terra Nova ».
